SCOPE OF WORK
Logo Design
CLIENT:
Breaking Bamboo Boxes
Initial Concept Exploration
The objective of the logo here is to function as a stand-alone icon. I wanted to play with negative space as a means of actually "breaking" the confines of a box. Additionally, I wanted to capture a sense of upward growth that wasn't static along with bamboo leaf shape language that evokes East-Asian style calligraphy.

Secondary Concept Exploration
With the project serving the AAPI community as a whole, I sought to explore additional concepts in case there was an overemphasis on East-Asian communities with the bamboo iconography.
As such, I incorporated additional elements such as the bandicoot berry and neem tree leaves into the original bamboo icon design.

Final Design
The final design returned to the original "breaking" of the bamboo box action with minor tweaks, this time also incorporating the text design that was ideated in the secondary concept stage.
